OT: American Eagle's Tailgate Line recently added Pitt

Wife works for AEO and mentioned this, so wanted to pass along. Looks like they only have about 10 items thus far, but selection will increase (looks like other schools have ~30). Nice tees, retro style.

Great stuff but the XXL is only a 48? That's a little lean.....

Clothes at stores like A&F, AE, Hollister, are cut very small because #1 its the style and #2 they dont want fat people wearing their brand. Honestly.

Also, fat guys like us don't shell out 40 bucks for cut off sweat pants and just wait to get what is left at TJ Maxx for 8 bucks....

I am in the gender fluid, part minority, bi-curious aged 23-60 demographic who felt the Bern and do kind of agree that they suck...hope that helps.
I guess I could have just looked at your name for my answer. No offense though, I'm out of the AE demo as well.

I actually like them and I'm far outside the demographics.... can't stand it when everyone looks the same. Reminds me of....Penn State.

Agree. They have different styles of clothing, you gotta read the tag. They have like a regular cut and a standard cut (I forget the names). 1 is for people built like a pencil and others are for people who actually have a build. Not all stores carry both. Mills only carries the tight fit, while Monroeville has both.

If you like a brand, wear it. I'm no fashion guru, but never have I EVER thought "wow, that guy is too old to wear any clothes sporting that logo".

I'm not in the 21 year old target demographic (in my late 30's), and certainly no fashion guru, but I'm not giving up my AE jeans when I turn 40 (or whatever is considered 'way too old' for such brands). They are more comfortable and versatile than any brand IMO... and really, unless your squeezing a big beer gut into a skinny fit shirt, is there really any difference between a polo shirt with a tiny eagle logo versus a polo with an old man-appropriate logo?

I'm 58 and the secret to life (as far as jeans is concerned) is elastic waistbands. I have a Great pair of LL Bean jeans with lining and elastic in the waist. I also have a pair of Lands End jeans with a stretch waistband. Both jeans are the best I have ever owned.
