The most condescending holiday ever! The day off is nice for servants but giving them unwanted food is over the top!

The best part about Boxing Day is the way the countries that celebrate it try to pass it off as a shopping holiday.
I have to admit, I hate to see Christmas come and go, but this is the best day so far of my holiday.
My god, leading up to this over the past week was non stop shopping, cooking then hosting both Christmas Eve and Christmas Dinners.
Now....leftover prime rib sammiches, gravy and fries. Drinking a Maker's and Ginger Ale right now. No one around. Watching Miami in a bowl game, Pitt on later, I watched USA/Canada in another classic World Junior Championship tourney game (hockey).
Finally a day to relax. Now my family wants to have a big get together on Saturday. And again I am hosting it. Which now I realized I bought too big of a house.

See, I like to work the day after Christmas if I can't make any fun plans. It's the easiest "do nothing" day of the year.
Wasn’t that turnover by the American D-man brutal that led to Canada’s game winning goal? Feel bad for that kid.
Yeah. Again, helluva game. I mean entertainment wise, pure competitiveness and even play, USA/Canada in both Men's Jr and Women's hockey is as good as it gets.
