OT: Claypool in Bears-Dolphins game

Don’t know if anyone saw it, but I think I just saw the worst non-PI call ever near the end of the game. Dolphins defender literally had both arms wrapped around Claypool’s waist way before the ball gets there. And a ref right there watching it and no call.

I’m no conspiracy theorist when it comes to refs but I can’t understand how nothing could be called watching that play and think it’s just a miscall.

Yeah it did hit him in the bread basket and he dropped it. But he at least had an excuse with the defender literally having 2 arms wrapped around his waist a few good seconds before the ball got there.

Stupid. By wrapping your arms around Claypool, it makes it impossible to intercept the ball after it bounces off his hands.

Oh, and of course, for any of us Steelers fans, it’s a good thing he dropped it and no PI was called otherwise it could have led to a Bears win or at a minimum OT.

We have 2 things to root for going forward for Steelers draft position, Steelers losses…..and Bears losses!!
