No sports performance should embarrass you, unless you are a Laker owner and you make a jerk like Lebron James your de facto GM. Or you’re the owner of the Jets and you make a jerk like Aaron Rodgers your de facto GM.
If you’re in charge of a franchise, and they are a laughing stock, be embarrassed. If you’re a fan, just chuckle and hope leadership figures things out. Unless you’re a Jets fan, in which case, switch allegiances because it’s never ever gonna happen for ya.
