We know how they have invested in their programs, facilities, coaching and NIL initiatives. Why does WVU exist? I mean what is its mission statement?? I can't believe there aren't more people in that state posing these questions.

Unfortunately this is true at many institutions. It is why I think we should demand the removal of the "non profit" tag on college FB and BB, because it is absolutely all about profit. But evidently, that money doesn't flow into academics (you know the non profit part), but just into the athletic arms race.
