So everyone that goes to the store to buy TP is trying to hoard it. Right? That's plain dumb and ignorant.i see a ton of hypocrisy out there with shaming horders. first off, yeah, people doing this are screwing up the supply chain, i get it.. but im seeing people upset who are trying to do the same thing.
case in point, parents fb page, chick says she has extra TP and if anyone wants it, they can have it. everyone says how wonderful she is, blah blah. this lady admitted to buying TP even though she didn't need it. that's the freakin problem. she does end up offering it out so yeah, ok she's not terrible but i called her out for buying it in first place and her reply was, "I bought it in case family members needed it." Again, it's this mindset that is causing the run on all this stuff.
the people crying about hoarding are the ones going to the stores trying to buy and stock up themselves and are just mad they got beat to the store. that's BS. i guarantee you 99.9% of the people crying about Hoarders of wipes, tp, etc have more than enough at home but want to stock up.
Agreed. Some very flawed logic. So everyone that goes to the store to buy TP is trying to hoard it. Right? That's plain dumb and ignorant.
Which beer is BOGO at Publix this week?I saw a woman in her late 30s leaving Publix in Winter Park on Saturday morning with a cart overflowing with every paper product you could imagine.
Have to admit I thought to myself "you bitch". When I went in, they had just imposed a two TP limit because sooo many people had bought up the stock already that day.
I always have a two week supply so my focus was to buy CORONA beer to offset any losses they might have.
Maybe the lady whose kids brought this on will pay by being home with them.
Or maybe she will get the mother of all irritable bowel symptoms.

I said that? I’m talking about the people who are buying it who don’t need it.So everyone that goes to the store to buy TP is trying to hoard it. Right? That's plain dumb and ignorant.
I see a lot of stores are starting to do this. One of the major grocery chains in Las Vegas (Smith’s) has instituted a new rule that they will not open to the general public until 8 AM, but from 7-8 AM a few days a week people over 60 will be let in one hour early.
There was some concern that older people were not getting their fair share due to the zoo the stores have been, and so far this seems to have worked out relatively well. Of course that also means for the time being that our seniors may well be the only ones with easy access to toilet paper, eggs, and meat.
My Mom couldn’t find any bread or buns at all in the store today. No eggs at one so she bought from another store.no canned soups or crackers either. The supply has not changed, demand has. People are still eating as much and using as much TP as before. Yet the demand is higher. Why is that??
Soap I get. Lysol wipes, I get it. More usage but not for 90% of the stuff that we can’t get. Ground meat, bread. It’s perishable too which is even weirder. TP, well it’s not yet people fear the future so need more of it, so they sleep better at night.

I should have mentioned there was no tp and very little paper products as well.i see where they are starting to limit the amount of a certain items like tp you can buy.they should have done that to start with.you wouldn’t have be a rocket scientist to know you don’t need that damn much tp.like the illustration above supports.“They're only as good as the world allows them to be. I'll show you. When the chips are down, these... these civilized people, they'll eat each other. See, I'm not a monster. I'm just ahead of the curve"

That was my original point. It’s not 1 or 2 a hole hoarders. It’s the fear mindset of running out in April so they are buying it now. They don’t realize that it is them who is screwing up the supply chain.I should have mentioned there was no tp and very little paper products as well.i see where they are starting to limit the amount of a certain items like tp you can buy.they should have done that to start with.you wouldn’t have be a rocket scientist to know you don’t need that damn much tp.like the illustration above supports.

everyone is shaming the invisible hoarder when they go to giant eagle to buy TP for April for their parents to be safe and nothing is there and the reason nothing is there is because people went to Giant Eagle to go buy extra TP for their parents to have in April.

We typically have a load or two in the freezerSunday the bread aisle at my local Giant Eagle had no bread and only a few packages of buns left when I was there. It made me wonder if people remember that if you don't actually eat the bread relatively quickly that you can't eat the bread any more.
