OT: HOMICIDE HUNTER on ID

I became somewhat addicted to this show a couple of years ago, not long after we moved to Virginia. Turns out, Lt. Joe Kenda actually lives here in Suffolk, as he moved from Colorado Springs a short time earlier.

Being the badass that he is, I looked up his background one night & it turns out he is from Western PA and also a Pitt grad. I noticed a University of Pittsburgh flag hanging in his office in tonight's episode.

Yeah... I have a thing for useless information and random facts. I thought I'd share and see if there are any other fans of the show.

There was a short story on him in the PITT magazine a year or so ago. You usually see that plain old school Pittsburgh blue and gold pennant in most episodes, I watch that show a lot.

Sure do. Just outside of downtown Suffolk. We moved here in August of 2014.

Nice to know. I like Joe Kenda even better now. That is one of the few shows I DVR and watch. ID is a really good station. Always a good station to put on when you got nothing else.

My wife, mother in laws and oldest daughters are addicted to ID and homicide hunter. It's always on in our house. I prefer reruns of law and order, but I'm coming around to ID. I'd like to be an actor on the shows, looks like a lot of fun and no talent required.

I was watching one time and was curious of his background and googled him. I was SHOCKED when it said he went to Pitt and I so wanted to post it here and tell someone.
