Interesting article. I am very involved in south central pa softball and the team they lost to, Lampeter strausburg is really good. Too seed out here in districts.
Anyways, I would be pissed at these girls. First off, senior week is just code for going to ocean city Maryland where the cops turn a blind eye to underage drinking. So essentially these kids are saying drinking beer and partying is more important than their teammates.
Secondly, why could these girls not do both. Not sure where the game was played but a Lancaster team playing a Chester team should have been in the eastern part of the state, probably about 2 hours away from ocean city. Why not just drive back for the game, and then go back to drinking?

So would the folks on these message boards who are applauding college football players that blow off bowl games, turn around and criticize these girls for following their own interests vs. playing in a silly game?
