OT: Interesting story out of ISU.....

Also surprising to me that they wanted to curtail the heavy infusion of transfers. That was their lifeblood and a place they really distinguished themselves from a talent acquisition standpoint.

I don't know, sabotage is a strong word and I don't think an AD would ever want to undermine a program that successful, but he definitely seemed to take Hoiberg and his methods for granted.

It seems like there has to be more to this story. Doesn't make any sense.

Not trying to be a moral arbitrator here, although I've ended up in that position a few times lately, but, Hoiberg's acquisition of players, both transfers and recruits, have frequently been accompanied by rumors of mis-doings and irregularities. It's possible that is a large part of the reasons for the poor treatment. The AD clearly seemed to be trying to push him out and force a change.

Or maybe they REALLY just didn't get along.
