I'm no Grayson Allen fan, but that foul on Caruso didn't really seem dirty to me. It may have been a bit excessive with the second contact in which he was trying to ensure that Caruso didn't get the shot up, but didn't seem dirty to me.
Caruso had a bad fall, that made the foul look worse than it actually was. I think people are more reacting to Allen's reputation and the fall, more than the actual foul.

If they’d just collided not a big deal. But the announcer’s right. He pulled with one arm and took a swipe with the other. He’s a dick and I’d love to see someone break his smug jaw.
You guys would have thought that they should disband the league in the 1980s if you think that was a heinous foul. It was a hard play but not exactly something notable in the realm of terrible fouls.
In the 80’s another guy would have come over and decked him. That is what we are advocating for in regards to this punk.

If there was a living and breathing commissioner in the nba - Jokic would have been suspended at least 10 games .
Grayson will likely get a game for the flagrant 2 but these aren’t remotely comparable

the second swing - without his history is non-issue - as it could have been said to keep the shot from getting up.
He made contact with Caruso’s head which rightfully for the flagrant 2
The wrist injury was incidental - not caused by the flagrant
