I was at nakama in south side years ago and across from bar is Jeff reed. Drunk and picking fruit out of the garnish bowl and throwing it at people. Just throwing lime and cherries at complete strangers. Dead of winter and of course he has shorts on, wool socks and a bandana on his head. Have you ever met a guy that wears a bandana that isn't a complete dickhead? Of course no one said a word because he was a Steelers, myself included.

Talked to my nephew yesterday. he was at the HOF induction ceremony standing by Reed and he said Reed was "smashed" and boisterous while signing autographs.

I wont repost or quote, but the summation is...there was no fight, no shoving, no anything except a drunk yinzer MFing him and his 8 friends. He removed himself from the game. Yes, I always leave a stadium voluntarily when someone starts harassing me and security gets involved.

No. I didn't say combative I said boisterous. No one was harrassing him. This was Saturday night at the induction.

he called in the Fan yesterday to defend himself.. Asked if he was drunk his reply was " I remember where I was."" Classic response to someone asking you if you were drinking.

Just talked to my brother who was in the same tailgate area as Reed. Said he was a loudmouthed a$$hole at the tailgate and that he indeed did get "escorted" out of the stadium during the game. So there's that.
