Why is it insanity? The Jets have won about 1/3 of their games since hiring him- that is usually cause for a firing.

Owner Woody Johnson has had 5 head coaches in 11 years. Sounds like Pitt a few years back.

And if the Jets beat the Bills at home this week, the Jets are in 1st place in their division.

I mean, they're 2-3 - if they were 2-7 - yeah I get it - just way too early in the season.

It's not insanity. Saleh sucks.

But he's a defensive coach and the Jets are really good on defense. Offense is the problem. That's also where they have nepo hires (OC and WR) and run an outdated scheme entirely to please their QB. So to the extent someone needs to take responsibility, they either picked the wrong person or didn't get rid of enough people. But they're going all in to please their egomaniac QB so Saleh hurt his feelings so he had to go.

I dont think its insanity but it would appear that its premature. As you indicated they are 2-3 and the season is not lost yet. Few teams would fire a coach after 5 games like this.

Rogers has not been very good. A lot of the blame should be directed at him. Hes the superstar/all world QB (based on pay and his pas performance) who is way under achieving. Hes become a prima donna. They dont run motion like other teams do because Rogers doesnt like it.

It appears Green Bay made the right decision to cut bate before he tanked there. The Jets would have been better served to spend the money on improving their OL and getting another WR threat and keeping Darnell than spending all the money on Rogers.

Rodgers can’t be accountable for his own poor play -
It’s always someone else’s fault .

It was probably directed by Aaron’s shaman
