I don't know if it's still in existence yet, but in Ringgold High School, they had a Hall of Fame area that honors athletes who went to Ringgold, Donora, and Monongahela High Schools. (Donora & Monongahela merged to form Ringgold.) The names listed in that room are really impressive. It's hard to imagine that many great athletes were from that single area - especially guys who played in the earlier days of the NFL. Arnold Galiffa, Bimbo Cecconi (Pitt great), "Deacon Dan" Towler, Ken Griffey, Sr., Stan Musial, Joe Montana, Ulice Payne (basketball)....just a few of the names.
