I have been anxiously awaiting this since reading all the good reviews dating back to January. It did not disappoint. This is a true musical, but built in a way that it doesn't come off as cloying or too sweet. The opening sequence on a LA Freeway is spectacular. From what I'm reading the ending is a bit controversial, but I felt it was realistic and completely appropriate. Great music, fantastic acting. You'll be humming the main tune for a while. Highly recommend. Grade: Solid A
