Finishing our trip to Miami/Hallandale Beach/Hollywood Beach, FL and walked up to Le Tub Saloon and Tiki Bar from the DoubleTree in Hallendale Beach for late lunch.
The 12 Ounce Cheeseburger was both enormous and delicious. Washed down with 2 Yuenglings while watching the boats cruise past on the Intracoastal Waterway was awesome. The Mrs. had a big bowl of giant peel & eat shrimp with old bay seasoning and cocktail sauce and drawn butter for dipping. A stiff Cosmo for her made this ramshackle waterfront shack and patio delightful for her as well.
Shout out to cheftbone for the Le Tub recommendation! A most memorable lunch.
We’ll be back in 2 years and will probably stay in the Hallendale or Hollywood Beach area again due to proximity to the stadium and much lower hotel prices than Miami Beach. By then I may be ready for that burger again.
