listening to the Fan right now and they are talking about Antonio Brown and how he has fallen from grace. They referenced the NFL 100 years commercial that aired last night. It featured JuJu, and did not feature AB. Now maybe AB declined to be in it, or maybe the NFL chose to go in a different direction. But two years ago, even just 12 months ago, AB was one of the most marketable players in the league, but now hey went with JuJu??? So it has me wondering. Was AB on the Madden cover this year, and if so, could this be considered the best example of the Madden jinx?

What would you consider the biggest case of the Madden jinx ever? Seems like the jinx is as an exact science, just as much as Tomlin losing a challenge. Almost.

We heard the same segment on The Fan.
One of the funniest comments of the segment was when one of The Fan hosts said maybe AB was invited but in typical AB fashion showed up late for the commercial shoot??

Life does go one without you AB.

Yep. That’s a bingo. If AB were to take issue with the NFL or find a way to take issue with the Steelers, Mr Rooney should just say we didn’t think you would show up so we sent JuJu. Or he could have said “AB, I tried calling you several times but you never answered, so we sent JuJu.”

I don't know if you heard this one on The Fan this morning.

The Fan hosts were interviewing another Pittsburgh reporter who was in Atlanta who said outside of
Pittsburgh the Steelers thing is big, talked about a lot and it is huring the Steelers brand.

The Pittburgh reporter went on to say he talked to an NFL "person" and he asked what will the Steelers get for AB, the NFL "person" said a 6th round draft choice or maybe a 4 if he shuts up and agrees to contract behavior rules?? The Fan hosts were stunned??

My prediction. AB is out of football all together in 2 years.

I don’t say this in anger, I really do believe he’s losing his mental stability and it’s spiraling away. His interviews went from humorous to confusing.

Steelers need to get anything for him and be rid of him ASAP.

Jesus. You guys need to take a breather. Or keep all of this to one thread.

It's exhausting watching the same 5 posters make the same 5 arguments over and over.

Come to think of it - that's basically all PL is anyway.

Dante Culpepper all but disappeared after he made it. Two that it didn’t affect were Polamalu and Fitzgerald. That was a sweet cover.

And see, I thought this thread had potential. I realize I did have the one backhanded jab at Tomlin’s challenges, but that whole issue is nothing but a joke anyways.

I’m not a gamer so I don’t pay attention to the madden cover. But from afar it seems like the players on the cover often have issues after the fact. And this AB thing? He really went cuckoo in the last year. You say “the same argument”, but can this be argued?

A mere 7 years ago...

Can you name this guy off the top of your head?

C'mon man a 6th or a 4th for a guy who is guaranteed to get 1,000 yards and 10 TDs and maybe upwards of 1,500 and 15? Josh Freaking Gordon got a 5th. There's no way his value is that low.
