It's embarrassing that Pitt gave up 24 points to this team.
A lot of air came out of their balloon once Diaz announced he was leaving. They are flat as a pancake.
All the Pitt fans claimed Miami has some great run defense. Just watched Wisconsin run 4 straight plays - gained 70 yards. Miami played same 9-in-the-box as they did against Pitt and just got blown off the ball w/ Wisconsin using the same zone blocking scheme as Pitt. Miami looks undersized and weak.
Their all american tackle and some other players are sitting out this game.
Remember thinking game could have been 8 quarters but Pitt wasn’t scoring a TD vs that defense. Watson made that D look like 85 Bears!
Again they have their best player out and a few others. Their d is legit. Even in this game they kept a bad situation reasonable.
They have talent but haven’t played hard consistently for several years. They were definitely pissed off at us about last year so they were ready to play on defense.
Then give Wisconsin credit. They're better than Miami...better gameplan, better execution, better coached. We didn't have that when we played Miami.
35-3. Yeah... that's reasonable. They got BLOWN out and RUN OVER by a truck. Missing their DT... ROFLMAO.
I have a bigger question... How is it that Wisconsin who recruits in the same neighborhood as Pitt (Per rankings) can score 35 points against Miami, and we couldn't do anything against them?????
Miami’s defense is talented and tough to beat at home when they come to play. They whipped a good ND team last year, and were ranked #2 in the country. They did not come to play and had no interest in the game today. Pretty easy to see.
The ACC is much worse than we thought it was. Miami just got curb stomped by a trash Wisconsin team. Not to mention the shellacking GTech took last night from Minnesota. This bowl season is going to get ugly for the conference. I’m nervous to see how we stack up against the PAC.
I dont know. How in 2016 we beat clemson and they shut out tosu who recruits 10xs better than us. It happens
I wouldn't start giving Wisconsin more credit than that they showed up ready to play a football game. Quite a few teams could have beaten the Canes tonight. They have given up (at least for this year - next season will be pivotal for Richt).
Even their punter punted on them.

Talent only matters if they actually show up to play. Did you say hi to Jeff Capel? He was in your backyard recruiting.
I did. Tons of talent at this tournament. The kid he was interested in is raw imo but very athletic.

Yea, but maybe the draw is that he is the starting QB. That is about to end.
