Since they put the Trending Articles on the Rivals site, this feature seems to be slowing down the Board Speed and creating other annoying issues. Anyone else seem to be having problems with this.

There is no way to shut it down/off and it is interfering with site performance.

I went over to the Rutgers Board Site (Scarletnation) and they also set up a Thread on this subject.

The site mod/publisher (John Otterstedt) is now looking into this.

Chris are you hearing any negatives about this.

I am having lots of trouble with current messages on boards. When I go on I am only bringing up one current post and all others are from prior days. Help please!

You may have accidentally turned on a filter. Above the thread list if there is a little red circular symbol try clicking on it to turn the filter off.

I use Firefox on a PC, laptop, tablet, and a phone, and I don't have any issues with this site.

John Otterstedt (Scarletnation) posted this problem on the Publisher Board and posted that another site publisher also reported this issue on the publisher board.

Maybe, you can check if other Rival's Boards are also experiencing this issue.

Any updates appreciated.

I posted the day after this new feature was introduced that it accelerates the battery usage on my Mac and also makes it extremely hot, to the point I am forced to shut down the site. Very frustrating. They really should have a way to disable the feature.

Yes, a few publishers and a few site users have mentioned this issue. I believe it's being looked into.
