OT: Parking

Plan on attending the Pitt/PSU game with some friends and wanting to tailgate and I am curious about parking. I have attended Pitt games in the past and either just parked and raink at the casino or crashed a couple of tailgates. So my understanding is ALCO controls the paved lots around the stadium and there is not tailgating? If we want to tailgate where is the best place to park? Do you need pass? Where to get one?

Any info would be greatly appreciated and Thank You

yes, ALCO controls the paved parking, but they do allow tailgating.

There are some on stubhub. Be sure you check a map first that indicates that some lots are actually garages, in which tailgating is limited, if not prohibited.
