Well "Cheers" was the runaway winner of Saturday's poll. Again don't hate on me if I didn't list a sitcom you really liked. I did 30 minutes long only so obv shows like Dallas or Dukes of Hazzard or Hills Street Blues weren't selected.

Out of these choices I know either probably won't win but I loved Silver Spoons and Diff'rent Strokes. Hell Small Wonder(the robot girl) was classic too!!

I'm going with Diff'rent Strokes. I watched almost every episode growing up and I loved it.

Silver Spoons? Silver ****ing Spoons? Seriously, I lived through and grew up during the 80's. From some of your choices I am wondering if you did? Because that is effing clueless. Small Wonder? What the hell? What is that? I never heard of anyone watching that. Punky Brewster? Some on dude, here's a thing, privately DM me first for a list of shows that had any relevance before you post this crap. Because it is getting worse and worse.

Oh relax man seriously. We're mostly all bored out of our minds, locked down and I'm trying to have a little fun on the board with the diehard Pitt fans. If you are getting that bent out of shape over a few tv sitcom choices I think you should sign off from here for awhile.

Dude, lol....no. I mean, come on...Silver Spoons? And a show that I, someone who was pretty damn cognizant (say age 14-24) in the 80's never heard of?? I understand your point. But ya got to be better than that.

Go to youtube, watch the small wonder intro. It was on in the early to mid 80's. On every Saturday night on channel 4 in Pittsburgh at 7:00 or 7:30 pm. I liked it. It was about a family, the father built a robot that looked like a real girl.

Oh and I could have listed Romper Room as a choice but I didn't.

I never heard of that one either. Apparently a show that was on in syndication rather than a network show, so you know that just screams "quality television".

There used to be a lot of fun direct to syndication TV that would typically get picked up by channels like 22 and 53 in Pittsburgh...Xena, Hercules, Star Trek TNG and Deep Space Nine.

Weird to think one reason Married...With Children may have had lower ratings is people literally still had TVs then that didn't go as high as station number 53, especially when they launched. By the end of the series, probably barely an issue at all.
