Just read the thread about Bertke. Some guys felt he didn't play good competition in hs. And this may hamper his development at Pitt.
That made me think about the S. Fayette QB we didn't recruit last year.( not sure of his name) He was a two time state championship QB. The feeling then was he played AA ball. And he couldn't throw the long ball. My feeling was he's a winner and we should have gone after him. (if he had interest in us)
