OT: Richard Simmons and Dr. Ruth to portal

Besides Gilbert Gottfried, Richard was probably the best Stern show guest back in the day. An absolute home run every appearance, which usually ended with him storming out in tears.
Richard had such a kind heart and would personally call and write thousands of fans. They were desperate for any kind of compassion and motivation. I always loved when he testified to congress to try to keep physical education in schools.
Another thing I wish is that Richard could have been open about his sexuality. He was obviously homosexual. This caused him so much stress having to constantly deal with those questions during interviews.

I was hoping there would be a reunion or an appearance of some kind. I think bababooey was trying but it was not to be.
