I understand different strokes for different folks but sometimes there are some things where I just can’t see it. He’s one of them. Why anyone would follow/listen/watch him is beyond me. He’s so transparent in that it’s clear he doesn’t even necessarily believe what he’s saying. He’s acting most of the time. And he’s not even good at it. He wasn’t bad when I first became aware of him years ago but he became insufferable pretty quickly.

I quit that garbage probably 15 years ago. ESPN and FS1 are cesspools. But I know you’re an NBA guy so you’re likely drawn to it. I’m an NFL guy and I just watch the games on Sundays and avoid ESPN sports center self promoting and their opinion shows curtain jerkers. I prefer my fellow Lair men to these national pundants. The opinions here are just as informed and more relevant to me.

I think it's mostly the fact that, when I'm working at home I like to have some background noise. Usually I opt for music or a podcast but sometimes I'll turn on his show for First Take. They're dumb and I can easily tune them out. But sometimes I get that urge to say "What stupid way will Skip contort himself to downplay LeBron." Then I hate myself.

"Background noise" would be a better description for that idiot than "moron".

I don't tune in anymore. Not for a while. Just look at the hires. Ex jocks who should be in jail for murder or drugs (sorry Hurricane fans) or HOFers with the thickest lisp imaginable or ladies who should look in the mirror just once before appearing on camera. Look for Burfict (sp) to end up with a mic in his hand someday.
