OT: Soup Dumplings

I am addicted. If you never had, these are little dumplings where the filling is usually a pork or a pork seafood mixture with a scalding hot broth as the filling inside of a dumpling.

My god are they good. Everyday Noodles in Squirrel Hill is the place to get them. I looked at every table today and swear to god, everyone had a tray of them on it. You know something has to be good if EVERYONE eating there orders it.

It is real deal legit Chinese food, not some Americanized version. Anyone else have had these? If not, should give them a try. But you aren't going to find them at most Chinese places in the area.

Recruits - they have them at Trader Joe's. Called Steamed Chicken Soup Dumplings in the freezer section. I'm fairly certain they are not nearly as good as those at Everyday Noodles, but honestly, in a pinch they are surprisingly very good.

Ya I was on these two years ago. Every time I was near there I got them.
