Team looks impressive so far, but Seattle might win three games. Still doesn't appear to be a ton of time in the pocket, but hopefully we can at least keep defenses from crowding the box by being more balanced, rolling the QBs out, etc.
McFarland looks like a beast, and we might have a top 5 receiving corps.
Trubisky looks like... Exactly what we need him to be.

Preseason is completely overrated, they know who the starter is going to be.
Pickett should play the whole second half. No reason to leave Trubisky in much longer.

Rudolph being Rudolph. Worst pocket presence in NFL history. I get that it wasn't entirely his fault, but everything he does is in slow motion.

Rudolph will never change his stripes, lol. I've been saying for years that the only thing he does is lob lollipops up over the shoulder. Sometimes they're completed; sometimes they're not. But he is not an NFL quarterback.

Even with average QB play, I think Pickens win AFC rookie of the year.
Rudolph hasn't looked like a lollipop-tossing statue as much this drive, but he's made some pretty questionable decisions on his throws.

the first half has probably went about as well as the Steelers could have hoped.
Trubisky looked good, justified the signing (for now anyway) and the almost assured #1 at the QB, which of course is what they intended all along to do with him.
Rudolph didn’t look as good (at least to warrant continued controversy about him vs Mitch, which is a “distraction”). But he did well enough that a team may want to trade something meaningful for him.
Other than the garbage time Seattle TD the D looked pretty good…flying around and tackling well. Yeah, it looks like Seattle stinks so that isn’t saying much. But better than the opposite.
