Saw some 6-pack cans of this in a store here in S Florida (North Country Brewing in Slippy Rock) - wasn't familiar with that one as it was about 3 yrs ago when I visited the brewpub and restaurant with Harve, and don't remember it being on their list.

So what's the deal on this one? Any good? I saw the brew date stamped on the can was Nov 05 '15 so I passed - for now. Thought I'd reach out to my IPA "support group" to get your impressions and comments. Thanks!

If nothing else we get to discuss something other than the next Pitt coach ...

I'll be curious to see how many ppl check in here. When I saw the title I knew what it was.

Unfortunately Moe I can't help much on this one. I see it all the time but I haven't pulled the trigger on it yet.

Their buck snort stout is ok. Paleo - another IPA from them is TERRIBLE. 2nd worst IPA I've had the displeasure of drinking.

They're not all that big or popular around here - im surprised it's down your way.

If you ever get to back to Pittsburgh there have been some really good brewpubs opening up around here.

We might make it back to W PA this summer - my other half has family in Lawrence County so nothing is too far to get to unless it's south of the 'Burgh

I'll ask Anne. She actualy drinks a lot more craft beer than me these days. . I can only tolerate about 1 beer a week with the allergy.

Agree with Pitt guy nothing special.

Stone has its best by out grab a sixer of that.

Unfortunately this is the year of fruit beer especially ipas.

Haven't tried the "Best By" from Stone as yet - will look for some, though. Agree about the "fruit beer" fad; I did enjoy the Sierra Nevada Beer Camp this year; was a bit more tropical and citrus flavored but it didn't take away from the hops and malt; more of a "complement" than overwhelming.

Not to be picky but I assume you're referring to Enjoy By? Great beer.

They also have an enjoy after that you're supposed to cellar but I haven't seen it here even though Stone is everywhere in Pittsburgh.

I had the beer camp last night. I think it's really good.

Ya I said best by I meant enjoy by.

That's why I put "best by" in quotes. I saw bobfree's note and then went on Stone's website to see what he was referring to. Regardless it sounds like my kind of beer (I love Stone IPA, Arrogant Bastard and Ruination IPA). I imagine that either Total Wine or ABC would have it here in FL.

Glad you tried and liked the 2016 Beer Camp - almost like a poor-man's Grapefruit Sculpin! Speaking of which, our Sculpin went up $2 a 6-pack once they sold to the new buyers ...

Ruination 2.0 is really good.

I haven't purchased Sculpin for a bit. Was already probably the most expensive non specialty beer around here.
