When did Sunday morning ESPN SportsCenter turn into a weekend rendition of the "View"?

I watch the 8-10 am college football recap on espn u. Lots of extended highlights and interviews. Really good

Last night another showing of Pitt players singing the fight song in the locker room. Hoping maybe after Thursday's game they bring it out to the field and sing the fight song after the game near the student section to get the crowd involved.

I think they do it every game - home in front of the students, away in front of the Pitt crowd.

I always see them come over to the student section, never noticed them singing though. Awesome! One of the biggest games in years Thursday night.

Does anyone miss Mark May and Lou Holtz on College Football Final?

I went a few yrs without ESPN and didn't realize they weren't on anymore til recently. The new show has no energy or humor and there's zero chemistry between the two. Last week the nerdy guy said Alabama's loss shouldn't count...literally just came right out and said it. Galloway is pretty level headed but has less personality than the teacher from Ferris Bueller.

This week the nerdy guy said he'd have LSU in based on 'their full body of work.' So I guess all games don't count til they do? Not to mention LSU has avoided playing against 1st string QB's 4 times.

No doubt about it. The new crew is weak and lacks charisma big time. ESPN has been sliding for a few years IMO. Gameday started out as a celebration of the pageantry, unique atmosphere and tradition of college football. Like the NFL, over the past 20 years or so it has been thoroughly NASCARized by ESPN with the awful "we're coming to your city" garbage, the in your face sponsor and product placement, etc.
