Lucked into seeing a screening of the Brutalist last night at the waterfront AMC (scored a free poster too). Its definitely a spectacle worth seeing in theatres if you have the opportunity with its current limited release. The word I'd describe it with is grand. Definitely a modern American epic filled with excellent performances.
Having an intermission was a cool/unique experience to me haha. I thought the second half was much sloppier then the first, so I'd give the first a 4.5/5 and the second a 3.5/5. So I averaged the movie out to a 4/5.
