OT: The decline of the Super Bowl logo

Does anyone else miss the pre-template Super Bowl logos? They just feel a little too stale and corporatized nowadays.

This fan made logo is much better in my opinion… time to return the creativity to the big game!

They've have a generic corporate look since 2010. A lot of bowl games have gone the way of boring corporate looks as well.

That fan designed logo would've been amazing for the Super Bowl.

While it’s better than what they’ve had in recent years, I still wish they’d move away from the template logos. IMO, it has theme but not a soul… and honestly, I don’t think it’s had a “soul” since Super Bowl XLII in Glendale. Just my opinion, though.

Logos are important to some people. Like you, I am not part of that group.
