OT: The Geico Pinocchio commercials

He looked right out of an Amway presentation.

BTW.. I went to an Amway presentation while a student at Pitt at the request of a fellow classmate. I just remember the pyramid thing and that the more you and your underlings buy the more you make. I sat there thinking "I can't even afford ramen noodles"!

I see potential........I see potential in you...............ahhhhh.....ooohhhh

The look on the dude's face is priceless.

All of the auto insurance companies can die a thousand deaths. The non stop commercials during sporting events have turned into mayhem. I used to fantasize about flo but now she is just a nightmare. I keep getting chased in my dreams by a gold emu with a blue scarf. At least they got the colors right

Underrated post.

I have the same dream except for me, Flo keeps chasing me away from my beloved blue and gold clad emu.

Mayhem the dog in the car licking the woman drivers face is the Best!
The driver is kinda hot and those glasses look good.
I bet she keeps her glasses on???
Nice commercial!

How about the AT&T ad where the one guy enters auto repair shop and asked the mechanic how his brake jobs were and the mechanic said they are ok the guy said ok? And the mechanic said that he made a saying, that if our brakes don't stop you something will.

They need to do a documentary on the ad agency and people behind the creation of the commercials. I really want to see the inner workings of the planning, the writing, the filming, and everything else. They are absolutely spot on. I think the sliding soccer player is another example of these guys just getting it. Motumbo, the Camel, just all so funny.

Those are hilarious also. The doctor one is also funny.

Liberty biberty....CUT!
Only pay for what you need.....damn them!!!

The Kmart "I shipped my pants" commercial was my favorite. It didn't last very long.

Also the diapers commercial where the cartoon babies were competing for best diaper blowout. Bizarre and oddly hilarious.

Insurance ads are annoying but I do like the woodchucks chucking wood into the pond.

This one still makes me chuckle

I am one who always felt that the cavemen did not run their course and there was a few more commercials left in them before they got stale. Geico moved on from them to quickly.

In the same vain, bud light kept the advertising campaign with the king and the bud light knights going, but I thought dily dily was still funny when they stopped including it in the commercials.

Best tweet of the week so far from impeachment trial comes from Lyndsey Graham.

"Quite frankly, having Adam Schiff lecture the Senate about fairness and due process is like listening to an arsonist talk about fire prevention," Graham tweeted during Schiff’s speech.

Then he congratulated him on what a good job he did in presenting the case. It’s all been turned in to a dog and pony show. And not just the impeachment.

I gotta go with "just ok" surgeon and the retired ad of Tom Prichard turning into his dad ordering jal-o-peeno poppers while clubbing...

I love the surgeon, Dr. Francis. “I’ll see you in there.”
