We have heard about alcohol free beer obviously, but this is interesting. I love a nice drink or 3, but it is not good for you. I am really interested to try this.

hmm, this reminds me of the scene from Wolf of Wall Street where leonardo asks his buddy if he wants an non alcohol beer and it takes him 5 minutes to explain the concept of non alcohol beer.

i just dont get it. There are a million better tasting drinks than gin without the alcohol. maybe if you are on the wagon but out with some friends at a bar, maybe?

Tanqueray 0.0% allows you to discover the definitive experience from Tanqueray, just without the alcohol..uh, no it doesn't. The "definitive" experience from any drink with alcohol is a slight buzz at a minimum. Man, its times and topics like this that makes me truly miss Pitt79 in these parts...

Oh man, it's interesting to me. I like the taste. I mean I like the complex, adult taste of mineral type of herbs that "spirits" provides over just pop or sweet drinks. I am also very very interested in cutting back my alcohol intake so this is interesting to me.

i feel like the idea of "why drink if dont get drunk" says more about me than it does non alcohol drinks lol..

Obviously there is a market for it, hope you enjoy it. im not a liquor drinker at all, only beer or a shot or two of jameson when Pitt football wins (or loses). so this doesnt resonate with me but to each his own.

I thinks it is a matter of telling yourself it tastes good, when as you said before, it would be at the bottom of the list of things to drink. Simple test, give your 12 year old a nice tall glass of Tanqueray 0.0% and tonic with a lime twist and see how it goes over...Additionally, try to give my wife one (usually requires three with regular Tanqueray ) before she goes on an airliner and see it go over even worse....

trying to play devil's advocate here so maybe it's just the seltzer or carbonation of it and of course the idea of drinking a mixed drink that appeals to people. Like when i hear people drinking decaf coffee im like "Whats wrong with you?" but people probably drank coffee for years, enjoyed the hot drink but the caffeine beats them up.

same concept i guess for mixed drink types. you are used to drinking that carbonated drink in a bar or evening setting and just putting pepsi in a rocks glass with ice doesnt cut it..

I get ya..Seems like the guy on tv or the movies who is not a drinker but at a bar always orders a club soda or some such thing..

I do think palates (ok not all) but mature. And some things I ate as a kid, I couldn't care much to eat now. I was always a rather adventurous eater, but definitely the palate matures.
