OT: Time to Shut Down the Baylor FB Program

If the Big 12 had any backbone (don't worry. They don't) they would toss this rape factory and add Houston. Let them wallow in the mountain west where they belong. The only reason they're in the conference is because Ann Richards demanded it when she was governor.

THE TRUTH...

We've all heard the stories of Baylor FB players and their extracurricular activities; now this surfaces: http://247sports.com/Bolt/Graphic-video-Dog-abuse-lands-Baylor-starter-in-trouble-46850891

Warning, this video will make you want to slam this player through a wall.

At what point is enough, enough?
I talked to a NCAA Higher Up recently, he said there will never be another Death Penalty again for any Power Five Conference Program. They even regret what they did to SMU and how it cost so much more pain, profits and they still have not recovered. The NCAA now feels the crippling effects the penalty was too much like a Program Bomb that makes it hard for any Program to ever recover.

There are better ways to deal with violations and the Power Five do not allow the NCAA to run the CFB NCS Playoffs, like they do the NCAA Tournament. The Big Five have so much more say now than the NCAA!

Shame on the Player, hope the Dog has be taken from him, and there should be an Internet Abuse Website on Convicted Animals Abusers and I credit Mike Vick how to teach others to regret and show how to reform and be an advocate against such abuse.

Up to Jim Grobe to deal with his Player just like Kelly just did at ND where he cut Two Top Players? Nothing upsets or kills off a career now than not playing and then having trouble in social media running away from a forever You Tube?

Just want that Dog to have a better Home and the Players needs much Rehab!

As more power is provided to the individual universities to make decisions, more abuse of power is likely to occur. The NCAA is in way over their head when trying to deal with problems that could cost institutions millions of dollars, however, that doesn't mean another third party shouldn't be given the opportunity to make a judgement on the program's overall standing when loss of control over one of the programs occurs. Baylor has had several incidents over the period of the past year, and likely many more that never made it to mainstream media. Obviously, whatever, changes they are making at the school are not working.

I think they are happy just making the money they make and fear losing it now. so, will give up power to avoid Waves to keep being paid for personal pockets.

There biggest obstacle is there inability to quickly investigate anything and then when they finish it, they hurt Players that were not even there when the violations occurred??

They are beefing up DC Lobbyists big time though, as CFB grows bigger and bigger, and government starts to look at making changes, this is not the Private NFL, but Tax dollar related Institutions.

I agree with Captain unfortunately with the money now involved and the politician clout the death penalty is not reasonable. The best the NCAA and conference can do is strip them of being eligible for a bowl game and conference championship. BTW Captain did you read about the IRS now looking at Louisville over compensation of coaches be interested in your opinion?

Baylor should have their program disbanded just as PSU should have theirs disbanded. Except, the PSU one would be a permanent one because that was the worst crime in the history of college football. Baylor's was sick and a death penalty for 10 years would be appropriate in this case. Then throw the Baylor asshole in jail for a long, long time.

But we all know none of this will happen because it's college football and nothing right is ever happening in these types of cases.

that video is harsh, and I don't even like dogs.. When I feel bad for a dog, you know it's bad..

If Penn State didn't get shut down for the crimes that went on in their football facilities then no one should be shut down for ANYTHING.

The NCAA, by the way that they handled the worst scandal in its history, verified their reputation as eunuchs. They won't lay the wood to any D-1 school that has sufficient funds to threaten a long, drawn-out legal battle.

But they'll bully some small 1-AA program over meal money or some other chickens*** violation.
