Here are my top 5 westerns not using the same main actor twice.

1. True Grit (original)
2. High Noon
3. High Plains Drifter
4. Silverado
5. The Treasure of the Sierra Madre

I would have had The Searchers but John Wayne was the main character.

Magnificent Seven.
Blazing Saddles.

That is all.

The good, the bad, and the ugly
High plains drifter
Josie Wales
Once upon a time in the west
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance kid

Magnificent 7

Watched this movie countless times and if I'm surfing and see it's on I will watch it again and again.

Can we count neo westerns? I haven't seen enough of the traditional variety to offer much of an opinion. But Hell or High Water and No Country for Old Men were both fantastic, in my opinion. I also liked The Hateful Eight, if we're counting that as a western. Some other good ones that come to mind are 3:10 to Yuma and Open Range... even Desperado was half-decent. I didn't much care for The Unforgiven or True Grit (only saw the remake). I'm sure I'm leaving off quite a few that I've seen, especially of the neo variety, but I feel unqualified to offer much of an opinion having never seen some of the traditional heavy hitters.

I don't know many Westerns but would have to put El Dorado at the top of my list. Robert Mitchum and John Wayne plus James Caan. The plot is inconsequential to the interaction between those three.

The original version of that was Rio Bravo. I'd argue the ensemble from that movie was better than El Dorado.
John Wayne, Dean Martin, Walter Brennan, Ricky Nelson and Angie Dickinson.

Deadwood movie was a great end to the show.

I think tombstone is cliche but I love it.

Agree with most of the others already listed.

That's a good one too. I just prefer Mitchum over Martin and Caan over Nelson.

Western is not my genre per se.

But...
Outlaw Josey Wales is #1 for me
Liked Deadwood the series.
Tombstone,
The Man That Shot Liberty Valence
The Good the Bad the Ugly

Warlock.
Henry Fonda, Anthony Quinn, Richard Widmark and a ton of great character actors.
Cool story.

Rio Grande
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid
Son of Morning Star
Magnificent 7 Both versions old and new
Lonesome Dove
Tombstone

Lonesome Dove was a mini series, but if included would be near the top!
Great characters and story!

Also, the 70s sci Fi gem Outland (with Sean Connery and Peter Boyle) is essentially a remake in space. A favorite of mine.

Edit: remake of High Noon, not El Dorado.

Does 3 Amigos count?

I think there are a lot of good choices in this thread. It seems like you could almost narrow it down to 10 or so that keep coming up. I'm partial to the Eastwood flicks, but also like some of the John Wayne. Magnificent 7 and Butch Cassidy were outstanding.

Gus is one of my all-time favorite book characters. Might be the novel I most enjoy re-reading from time to time.

Favorite movie is definitely Once Upon a Time in the West.

Also like Shane.

Then our collection is rounded out by The Searchers, The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance, and She Wore a Yellow Ribbon.

1. Unforgiven
2 Good, bad and the ugly
3 Magnificent 7
4. Open Range
5. Fistful of Dollars

No love for the Assasination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford? Not your typical western, but westernish.

Butch Cassidy fans:

plan a trip to Durango, Co and take a ride on the Durango and Silverstone Narrow Gauge Railroad. That’s the train and the location where much of the film was made..and visit Mesa Verse NP while in the area.
