Destroyed defending Olympic champion China in straight sets. In the second set, China scored one point on its own serve.

Turkey goes 6’6, 6’6 and 6’6 on its front line; It’s libero gets to everything inbounds; and they are very easy on the eyes. Plus, their coach, who is about half the size of his players, is non-stop in motion.

Really fun to watch. I assume they all play professionally in Europe, but if Dan Fisher can find some younger Turkish players like them, we would have a front line that would cause nightmares for anyone we play.

I believe you. But I am having a hard time imagining how three 6’6” women are easy on the eyes. :).

In the pre-Olympic world rankings China was ranked third and Turkey was ranked fourth, so it's not like Turkey winning was some US/USSR hockey-type scenario.
