Taking a bit of a break from the MBB HC search stuff with this OT post.

Anybody else out there watching this show? Joint English-French produced crime series. Centers around incidents that initially occur in/near the Euro Tunnel between Dover and Calais, and then are jointly investigated by English and French law enforcement. Then has various tentacles that branch out into some inter-connected scenarios.

Season 1 (10 parts) was excellent. About 5 episode into season 2 now and it's as good or better. Intense. Riveting. Thought provoking. Very well written and acted.

Never heard of it but it sounds interesting. Where do we find it?

The Tunnel is an adaptation of the Swedish/Danish series "The Bridge" (Bron/Broen), which was also adapted by FX for an American/Mexican plot. The first series of all three shows is the same.

FX canceled theirs after 2 seasons. The first season is good, the second is weaker. The original Swedish version is really great and just concluded their final, fourth season early this year. If you can tolerate subtitles, definitely give it a chance. One of my all-time favs.

nah, French police dramas delving into international waters and intrigue peeked with Chief Inspector Jacques Clouseau so I cannot imagine how another one could not but be a letdown.

I was heartbroken when FX cancelled the series after two seasons. Thought it had a lot of promise. I was a big Linder fan.

Wasn't aware of the others that you guys referenced. But this Brit/French version was excellent! Hope they make some more.
