OT: Undefeated HS Football Team cancels season and fires the entire coaching staff

This is on the opposite side of the state as us (St. Louis) so we've been following it.
Long story short, a player was suspended for their first game of the season from an ejection in the playoffs and they were playing a school in Illinois. They changed his name and number and had him play, thinking no one would catch us. However, opposing coaches saw this mysterious player when sharing film and noticed he had the same arm sleeve tattoos as the other guy.

I love football and sports and believe you always play to win. But to be so blinded by winning that you are not being honorable is getting too commonplace anymore. I hope this staff get blacklisted from coaching.
Many on this site would say that cheating to win is ok.... many have advocated here that Pitt should cheat too.

Ejected from a playoff game. Was supposed to sit out the first game of the season. Apparently wasn’t the first time they did this, either.
If you think Pitt has more integrity than the rest of the schools that are cheating you are crazy. They just have less resources therefore less desire to play to go all in. But hey puff out your chest and think Pitt is morally superior to ND, Mich, Ohio St, Syracuse, Villinova, Georgetown, Alabama, Clemson, Duke, Kansas, N Carolina, Texas, etc etc. They all cheat, some just do it better than others and some just get caught while others not.

I'm going to guess there's a deep backstory that made the school nuke the program. This was the final straw.
Yup. Upon doing an investigation, they discovered this wasn’t a one time deal. They were just going to put the coach on leave (and MSHSAA was going to have them barred from playoffs) until they discovered they had done this multiple times in the past, which prompted them to fire the entire staff + the AD and cancel the rest of the season.
With about three minutes to play, he was ejected after a skirmish started following a roughing a kicker penalty committed by the opposing team. It was a real chippy game; pretty sure it broke some record for most penalties in a championship game. Carried over into the opener for this season since it occurred so late.
Feel bad for the kids but I'm not sure what else he could do given the circumstances.
