Succeed with Dignity. Crime is a problem everywhere, but so are weeds.
Exactly, it is nice to see Penn State finally realizes they were no worse or good as other Programs. This was their surprised revelations and now the smart and best PSU Fan knows it. Only the PSU Posters dregs think it will be reversed, but the reforms refute they ever had a superior program to other schools.
I don't hate Penn State. Not by a long shot. But I despise hypocrisy and the slogans ....especially that old Success with Honor bullshit...that were solely designed to market the university to those on the outside while those on the inside (and by that I mean the inside of the Lausche building---the young and the very old) either suffered or looked the other way make me want to vomit.
I think Lion84 is one of the better Posters that acknowl3edges mistakes happen at PSU but he points out at other Schools too, so be it. Most CFB fans knew it, but most PSu Posters were misled and were upset when they found out PSU was not as Special and slogans were made up not reality.
I don't hate Penn State: I hate those from or in love with an opinion that doesn't meet facts.
Yes....all crime is a problem and for as long as I can remember, PSU has used its false image to both promote itself abd denigrate others.
True and the Cover Ups tried to project an image that was not based on reality and led to the Reforms to change the Football Culture.
Now when the truth comes out, the number one reaction is for those I mentioned to point the finger at others. It is sadly reminiscent of the trials after WWII. Oh, if only there were Spandau Ballet performances in the future, then justice would be served.
Go back to Thon.
Penn State University and Fans can take more Nittany Lion Pride in making the changes with the Reforms to correct the myths, slogans, and mismanagement to protect the cover ups. It still has a formidable Program that can win with the Reforms and live up to the realities they once thought were true. Nothing wrong in commending the changes made and still be proud of their school that made them.
