Tool is def very good...would consider them progressive/industrial but def in the metal vein... Never got into dream theater...but I've heard of them...I love early thrash/death metal from mid 80's to late90's...slayer pantera deicide early cannibal corpse morbid angel obituary death megadeth Amon Amarth malevolent creation type o negative...I can go on forever...lol...I play guitar so as long as it's somewhat technical I'm interested...also I really enjoy classical fingerpicking style guitar...
