Rich Walsh on channel 2 said that according to people at Robert Morris the rumors that Minnie has asked for his release are "absolutely false".

Walsh is the only one saying that, 5 or more reporters have said it is true, he's asked for his release to explore his options.

That's the risk when players do well as freshmen. low major level players look to jump up to the A10/AAC level. A10 types look to jump to P5 teams, and P5 players look to go to the NBA.
