Overall good Pitt weekend

I think they should be in, Joe. They have a nice resume with wins over UNC, Michigan, Colorado St, UCSB and 2 over GT with losses to highly ranked teams like WKU, Duke, ND, FSU and Coastal Carolina.

Well the problem is that teams like ND aren't actually all that good. ND's current RPI is 65. Duke's is 61. Coastal's is 38. Colorado State's is 44. Georgia Tech's is 45. We are 4-4 against the top 50 and 7-7 against the top 100. I don't know if having one bad loss is a killer or not, but we lost to Wake Forest, RPI 240. Hopefully since there was only one of those it won't hurt too much. For the record, Pitt's current RPI is 41.

It's going to be close one way or the other. Our advantage right now may be that we are probably the third ACC team in, if they pick three ACC teams. I guess we will know one way or the other in an hour or two.

Colorado St, Coastal, WKU, FSU, UNC, Michigan and Missouri from our schedule all made it. Fisher dos a nice job with the schedule strength this year.

Dayton is 30-1 on the season. They have a great record but their schedule was not good at all. Their one loss was to Loyola Marymount (RPI 62). Their best win was Miami (Ohio), who had an RPI of 40. That was their only game against the top 50. They played six matches against the top 100.

Game should be available on the WatchESPN.
