Palm has Pitt in and UVA out

It’s so close right now and just saw Palm live on CBS Sportsline saying Pitt is his last team currently in. Early outlook for Saturday here need both Oregon and NC State to lose in the Conference championship games. Need to root for FAU to beat Temple and make the finals so that there is not another bad Stealer out of the American. The Atlantic 10 already has a bid stealer it looks like since Dayton is most likely already in and none of the 4 teams left in the tournament are getting in.

There are a few other teams to keep an eye on but those are the main ones right now. Pitt playing North Carolina the way they did and Virginia losing to NC State I think helped Pitt a bunch tonight and it’s hard to make a case for Virginia over Pitt when they beat them head to head on the road and Pitt has a better NET. I think they will get in but let’s face it it’s gonna be a nerve wracking next 36 hours or so thinking about it.

I'm not sure I'd have Dayton in even though everyone has them ahead of like 20 teams. 1 win over the field and that was SJU, who isnt even definitely in. 93 SOS is one of the worst for the at-larges. Didnt win the A10 regular season. Couldnt even make the A10 semis. Finished outright 3rd place in the 8th best NET league. Come on now.

I dont see any possible way that UVa is in over Pitt or that the #4 league only sends 3 teams. UNC, Colorado, and FAU winning would be huge. That opens up one more spot for a team on his list: SHU or Indiana State more likely as they could easily be in now. Or Providence or are they already in his field?

There is a better chance all 3 of those teams lose then win their games. I don’t see Temple beating FAU, and I can’t see NC State winning 5 days in a row and beating North Carolina I just don’t see that happening. Colorado and Oregon is the one that has the best chance of happening. So that one should go Pitt’s way and Colorado win but you just don’t know. Then you still gotta worry about FAU beating South Florida most likely in the American championship game on Sunday. So like I said I think Pitt is in but it’s gonna be a nerve wracking next 36 hours for sure.
