Paris Ford recruiting Jeff Thomas

Trying to get him to consider Pitt. Seems like it may be working a little.

Ford had swagger, high motor, and flat out balled yesterday. I think he earned the respect of his peers.

Hate to compare, but really... If PSU had Ford and we got the little guy Wade, I would be quite envious after yesterday's game. Ford stood out.

I don't follow recruiting that closely, but Thomas is supposedly a media mystery with his recruitment lean and may not decide until Feb. He did however, retweet Paris talking Thomas up as a potential big impact frosh at Pitt. Hopefully, they hit it off at the UA game to get us into consideration.

If he reaches out, no way the staff turn him away at a huge position of need. I'm also sure the staff are going to chat with both Sibley and Ford very soon, this opportunity should be a part of that conversation

@VA that is true but it would have helped greatly if the coaches would have been recruiting him and established a relationship in the recruiting process. I'm not saying it won't happen....but it's a long shot.

Many of the players in that UA game have already committed, he's undeclared and he was the games MVP, I'm sure Ford is not the only player from that game recruiting him.

A month or so? So, about 7 weeks to hire an OC. Even if it's a NFL assistant they should at least be able to announce the name before another month goes by.

It would help if we had a OC but we might not have one for a month or so

Yeah, I would think it would be announced prior to recruiting opening back up which is usually 2 days after the championship game.
