Anyone else have trouble using the new electronic tickets for parking?

I park in the BST lot and when exiting the reader kept saying my code was invalid. Since there was no human at either gate, I eventually gave up and had to pay.

Does your phone have a cover on the front glass? Sometimes if that is too thick electronic readers cannot really read through it.

I don't know if this is related or not, but I park in the OC lot and when I pulled in and showed the guy my phone he didn't scan the code or anything. He just said "here for the basketball game?" And I said "yeah". And he said "OK, go ahead."

I wonder if he already knew the scanner wasn't working so he didn't even bother trying.
