Michigan: Chris Partridge, who worked with part of the special teams units and the Wolverine linebackers last season, has been named special teams coordinator. Running backs coach Jay Harbaugh (who coached the tight ends last season) will hold the title of co-special teams coordinator.

Hiring a position coach is a lot less involved than hiring a coordinator. It won't take much time.
