I mentioned that Pat Narduzzi reached out to the recruits in the wake of Matt Canada's departure Wednesday morning, and that included grad transfer candidate Max Browne.
Narduzzi spoke with the former USC quarterback and did so pretty early in the day. As he did with Kenny Pickett, Narduzzi emphasized the overall consistency of the program and reiterated the points he made over the weekend when Browne was in town for his official visit.
From what I gather, Pitt's still in very good shape with Browne. To some extent, I think that if this situation with Canada hadn't unfolded as it did, Browne might be committed to Pitt by now. Instead, he's still considering his options, which pretty much boil down to Pitt or waiting until the summer to enroll. As it stands, I think there's a chance Browne could decide to just go for it and commit to Pitt as soon as the next few days.
