New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick praised Aliquippa as a “great football area” Wednesday when he was asked about Steelers wide receivers coach Richard Mann, a native of that town. Mann, a member of Aliquippa's 1964 WPIAL championship team, coached under Belichick with the Cleveland Browns from 1991-93. “He comes from a great football area. He comes from Aliquippa,” Belichick said on a conference call with reporters. “There have been a lot of great players come out of that area. We had one here with Ty Law. Sean Gilbert and guys like that. “It's a tremendous football area with great tradition.”

When called crazy, watch out for them, they usually are the ones out to get you first if they do blow, I am told by those in the know......Belichick just doesn't know the strengths and weaknesses of his Team, but he knows the Strengths and Weaknesses of Players on your Team's Roster!!!!

Aliquippa might be the First Zip Code with 4 or more Pro Hall of Famers Someday Soon! Have to go to Pitt again for a Luncheon will be back later.

Maybe Mann is the OC candidate. A little far fetched because of his age but who knows?

Unlikely given his age (got to be pushing 70) and his lack of college experience over the last 35+ years. And he's never been anything but a receivers coach, hard to imagine him getting an OC gig anywhere.
