The best info I've seen yet and from a very reputable source. Seems all but done:
Camping World: Syracuse (still considering NC State)
Gator: NC State (would rather have Miami but Miami seems to be going to the Sun Bowl again which makes 0 sense)
Belk: UVa (been saying this is a lock for a month)
Pinstripe: ACC wants Pitt to be there. Other options are BC, GT, Wake, VT, Duke
Pitt will sell more tickets than BC and GT, no doubt so I don't know why the Pinstripe would push back on the ACC/Pitt. Unless its trying to get VT who will sell a lot more tickets and has never been there.
I am very surprised that the Gator Bowl is giving up on their last chance to get Notre Dame next year. To me, it doesn’t make sense they'd go ACC this year. The article says they prefer Miami so why not take them then? Why NC State? Does Miami really want to go back to the Sun for the 2nd time in 4 years?
Well, it’s better than Shreveport or Detroit! It’s a Tier 1 bowl and I think we’d have a shot at beating one of the Big Ten schools.
NC state has one more game, a win puts them at 9-3. Their game with WVU gotvrained it due to hurricane, so why not pit NC state against WVU in camping bowl
Who is bringing more fans, NC state or Syracuse?
Miami is not going to el Paso. They end up on gator.
NC State to Orlando, Syr to NY, and Miami to Gator/MC makes so much sense for ticket sales. Then throw Pitt to the Sun Bowl.
