Who do you think will make it from Pitt in the near future?

  1. Ruben Brown - 9 time pro-bowler, 11 year starter, 1st round draft pick.
  2. Jimbo Covert - 2 time first team all pro, member of 85 super bowl winner. 1st round draft pick.
  3. Larry Fitzgerald - 1 time first team all pro, 8 time pro-bowler, playoff record holder, 1st round draft pick, should be in the top 10-15 receivers all time when his career is over. NFL Records: Most touchdown receptions in a postseason: 7 (2008), Most receptions in a postseason: 30 (2008), Most receiving yards in a postseason: 546 (2008), Youngest player to reach 7,000 career receiving yards (26 years, 111 days), Second youngest player reach 6,000 career receiving yards (26 years and 13 days), Second youngest player to reach 9,000 career receiving yards (28 years, 81 days ), Second youngest player reach 10,000 career receiving yards (29 years, 34 days), Third youngest player to reach 70 career receiving touchdowns (28 years, 74 days), Youngest player to record 700 catches (29 years and 23 days old,), Youngest player to record 800 catches (30 years, 57 days)[20], Youngest player to record 900 catches (31 years, 102 days), Youngest player to reach 11,000 career receiving yards (30 years, 85 days )
  4. Bill Fralic - 2 time first team all pro, 4 time pro-bowler, 1st round draft pick.
  5. Andy Lee - he is a punter so forget it. But he is a 3 time first team all pro.
  6. LeSean McCoy - 2 time first team all pro, 2 time pro-bowler, could possibly be in top 10 in career rushing yards when he is through.
  7. Darelle Revis - 4 time first team all pro, 6 time pro-bowler, 1st round draft pick.
  8. Mark Stepnoski - 5 time pro-bowler, member of the 3 time super bowl champion Dallas Cowboys

Anyone I'm missing? Who is a lock? Who has a shot? Who needs a prayer?

Wow! I forgot about Mark May. What ever happened to Bill Fralic? Didn't he only play 8 years or something like that?
I mentioned Andy Lee only because Ray Guy was a 3 time first team all pro (Lee already has 3), and 7 time pro bowler. Andy Lee has some time. But I know, punters never make it.

I think Fitz is a lock and likely so is Revis. Revis is considered the best at his position over the last decade and that usually means a place in Canton.

RB's are increasingly becoming diminished, so it will be interesting to see what happens with Shady.

I can see out of the rest, Rueben Brown as the best chance based on his pro bowls. Fralic, Covert, May, Stepno really haven't gained any support or momentum.

There is ONE punter in the Hall and that is Ray Guy who essentially was the Babe Ruth of punting. No chance for Lee.
