That's exactly what the runs amd screens are-managing the game. Having enough wherewithal to take what you're given offensively. 3rd and 9, everyone's covered, nobody in the middle of the field, you tuck amd run, get the first down and anything else you can. Game manager is not a criticism, it's a compliment. Teams have won championships with game manager type QBs who door make big mistakes Nate ran the plays called and moved the ball down the field today. Solid QBing.

Peterman was a difference maker on several plays. Granted he's not an elite QB - not even close - but he's far from a sucky one either. Aside from Savage (which can be debated), Peterman is the best QB to play at Pitt since Palko or Rutherford (whichever played most recently).

I don't think he's good at all. That's my opinion. He was terrible most of the 2nd half of the season last year and he's continuing that trend. You can disagree, go for it.
