Last January, JaSiré Peterson got his first scholarship offer and committed on the spot.

A year later, Peterson decided to back off his verbal pledge to Rutgers, and since he made that decision on Jan. 14, the offensive line prospect from Union City (NJ) has added seven new offers.

Syracuse offered him the day he announced his decommitment. UConn came in two days later.

Next was Boston College, followed by Akron, UMass, Nebraska and, most recently, Pitt.
